And here's my second photo. This is a pair of socks that I started when we were on vacation. We stopped at a JoAnn Fabrics and I picked up this yarn because it was cheap, it had red in it, and I knew that it would be a good car project. It's just my generic short-row heel sock pattern with picot edge (because I hate knitting ribbing).

I finished the first sock today, and when I started on the second, I realized that there was no way that I was going to be able to make a matching pair. I have made tons of socks (upwards of 25 pairs) and have NEVER had a problem matching them. This yarn has such a big color repeat (it's like 4 inches) that a matching pair is just not going to happen. I also noticed that the pair on the label does not match. This should have been my first clue.

This may very well drive me insane. I am a little anal retentive when it comes to my crafts and I don't know if I can handle them not matching. I might have to immediately make another pair that does match to make up for this one.

Oooooo! I got a picture to load! I fully realize that I need to work on my photography skills, but for now I am OK with the fact that it loaded at all.

This is my current manicure. It is Zoya Dree stamped with China Glaze Passion using Konad plate 73. I cannot say enough good things about Zoya nail polish. If you had asked me about it a month ago, however, I would have told you that it was complete crap. Their Color Lock System makes all the difference in the world. I am very hard on my hands and nails, but when using this system I can get my manicure to last 4-5 days. That is huge for me.

And......it looks like I can only load one picture per post?!? I'm sure this is entirely user error at this point. I'll try again later.
I'm having problems loading pictures to my blog. Possibly because I live in the middle of nowhere and my Internet is incredibly slow. So, I will take this time to list some of the crafts that I have been obsessed with over the years.

Quilting
Knitting
Felting
Spinning Yarn (we have a hobby farm and used to own sheep)
Chainmail Jewelry
Konad Nail Designs (I don't know if this counts as a "craft", but it's my blog so deal with it)

When I can make my computer work correctly, I will be posting photos of some of my past crafts as well as the ones I am currentlyt working on. It is also possible that what I post will have nothing to do with crafts, but simply be something that I am obsessing with at the moment. Again, it's my blog, so deal with it.

Hello

I've decided to start a blog to document the crafts that I am obsessed with at the moment. I should have started this years ago.........
